01Do I need a partner — or hardware — to use the app?+
Neither. Solo mode runs the full Life layer — tasks, journal, points, stats — on your own. Link a partner whenever you like to unlock chat, rules, approvals, and standings. No hardware is required for any of it.
02How do roles work — Dominant, sub, switch?+
Home reads your side of each dynamic: subs see one next action and a deadline, Dominants — Doms and Dommes alike — see the approval queue and standings. Switch with someone? Pick which side to feature per partner in You → Primary partner, and change it whenever the dynamic does.
03Who can see my tasks, rules, and journal?+
Only the people inside the dynamic they belong to — you and the partner concerned. Nothing from the Life layer is visible to friends, groups, or the board. Chat is end-to-end encrypted; journal entries are shared or private, entry by entry, your call.
04Where is my data stored?+
On your device by default. Nothing leaves it unless you turn on cloud sync in
Settings → Privacy. See the

05How do I delete my account or data?+
In the app:
Settings → Account → Delete account. Or request it from the web on the
Account & Data Deletion page. You can also wipe just your cloud data without closing your account.
06Is the app free? Are there subscriptions?+
The app is free to download and use. Any optional paid features would be clearly marked and billed through the App Store or Google Play — safety features and your own data are never paywalled. See

07Which devices and OS versions are supported?+
iPhone on iOS 16 or later, and Android phones on Android 12 or later. See the requirements panel for specifics.
08What about the hardware?+
The first DC instrument is in final hardware. The app doesn't need it — but there's a tab waiting for it, blurred. Specs, name, and pairing instructions are declassified at launch. Until then: it measures, it streams, and it ships when it's ready.
